Patrolling

As a voluntary Surf Lifesaving Club, we patrol the beach at Southbourne on weekends and bank holidays between May and October.

Any member over the age of 14 can contribute to the club by coming down and helping with anything from First Aid to helping look for missing kids, and you don’t have to be qualified as patrolling is a great way to learn the skills you need to become a First Aider or Lifesaver We also carry out continuous training to help toward members gaining extra lifesaving qualifications. You don’t need to come down for the entire day, even a couple of hours will help towards keeping our beaches safe.

When we patrol:

Southbourne Beach, St Catherine’s Path @ Bistro on the Beach

Saturday’s 2pm-6pm

Sunday’s 10am-6pm

Bank Holidays 11am-5pm
